Your machine is running a webserver, a db and an abstraction layer for it under win95.

You might check your HW performance excluding ODBC request in your script and see how fast the rest
of the system is. I suggest to you making an array containing the similiar values which is retrieved
from Access and play with these wired values. If your script doesn't run significantly faster
it indicates that your machine is already overloaded without any db.
