I am using php4 RC1 + apache 1.3.12 and I am always getting segmentation
fault when I try to use the file() function (what it does ? ... reads an
entire file into an array). Anyone knows about that ? It works in newer
releases of php ?
(I wanted to use this function to find the number of lines in the file. I
tried another solution then but it does not work every time bcs. the lines
from the file are not always the same dimension: the size of file / the
number of characters from one line = number of lines. Yes, I know that is
not quite an elegant solution ... :) )
And another question a little off-topic (javascript): how can I open with
"window.open" method an maximized window in IE5 ? And where can I find
documentation about the IE javascript ? I have some from Microsoft but I
can't find there any help about window, document... methods and properties.
In Netscape's documentation you can find that very easy.
Tnx,
Mihai
PS: I thank all who replied to me about the progress bar :))
The conclusion about the progress bar: it cannot be done as I wanted to
(( ... but I think that a little animated gif will be enough .. :))
