Imap + php4 - compile ok but does not load (mxdriver)

Hi, I am trying to compile php-4.0.0 with imap support but even tough I have success in the compile stage (no warning) when I try to start the server I get Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: mxdriver [FAILED] I am using imap-4.7c (I've compiled using make slx and copied the c-client.a (as libc-client.a) and the .h files - only the 3 mentioned in the manual - to /usr/local/lib /usr/local/include). I am using ./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql --with-zlib --with-ftp --with-xml --disable-debug --with-gd --with-ttf --enable-trans-sid --with-imap=/usr/local I am able to compile and use (without the imap support) removing the --with-imap Linux RH 6.2, apache 1.3.12.
