i just finished my port of PHP's serialize()
and unserialize() functions this morning.
now, you can pass around serialized variables
and work with them either in perl or in PHP.
(i intend to store the serialized arrays in a mysql
database, and have either perl or PHP load, modify,
and update the serialized data in the database)
you can find the code at: http://furt.com/code/serialize/
PS: this is alpha code. i have not thoroughly tested it,
but it seems to work great.
if anyone tries this, please let me know your thoughts.
