Enabling short tags in PHP 4.0.6

I have just installed PHP 4.0.6 on my server and although the php.ini file shows that short open tags should be on, a look at phpinfo() shows they are off and of course the don't work. I have a huge site already developed using short tags and must turn them on. Does anyone know what is wrong? I even configured PHP with the --enable-short-tags option but still no luck. -- ----------------------------------------------------------- Shane Lambert, Owner Coulee Web http://www.couleeweb.net/
