HTTP_REFERER is depending on the browser, as well as it works only when
there was a click from some page to yours.
You can also use a JavaScript, load a 1px graphic .php? referrer or whatever
it is, this is not precise either, but gives you more info.

Subject: [PHP] http referer
Dear folks
I was told that http referer can tell me where the user come from. But it
does not work all the time, is there anything else that work better than
this?
