If you have an object, it is the operator that allows you to pick
out attributes and methods of the object:
eg:
class A
{
// constructor
function A( $text )
{
$this->text = $text;
}
function Print()
{
print $this->text;
}
}
$anA = new A("BOO!");
$anA->Print();

I've done quite a bit of php coding in the past few months but never had the need to use this and therefore never learned anything about it. It's hard to ask about it because i have NO idea what it is at all. Is it to give spanning values? I was woundering if anyone knew specifically what it did. -Adam -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-general-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-general-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net------------------------- Brian White Step Two Designs Pty Ltd - SGML, XML & HTML Consultancy Phone: +612-93197901 Web: http://www.steptwo.com.au/ Email: bwhite@steptwo.com.au
