Sounds like you are using a form to allow a submit button - so you could
add a hidden field containing the subject?
<FORM ACTION="mail.php" METHOD="POST>
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME=subject VALUE="Your inquiry about a Kenworth">
<INPUT TYPE=submit NAME=summit VALUE="email for more info">
</FORM>
And no PHP to be seen :-)
