Hi! I am new to the list, so I will present myself before talking about the differente between echo and print. I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Sao Paulo state, Sao Carlos city, Brazil. I use PHP in a system that manages online courses. About the big difference: reading the manual errata of the echo function (available at http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.echo.php), I found a note from philip@cornado.com that mentions another WWW document.
