We've been doing it for years. It is pretty easy. It works with php3 and
php4 (Without filter set)
In the Internet Management Console disable the anonymous access for the
directory or page that authentication is required on.
Then add the specific users, groups or domains to have Read access to those
specific directories or pages. The easiest to add is Authenticated Users
from Explorer. If FrontPage is being used then this is not an option that
can be set from their. In FrontPage set browse rights to include;
(YourDomainNameHere)\Domain Users

Dom

Subject: [PHP] winnt password authentication using php/iis
We want to build a login page which uses the same username and password that
is used for us to login to our WINNT domain.
Is it possible to use php/IIS 4 to check user login information entered via
the web against our primary domain controller? We are not sure if this is
possible or where to begin with something like this, but I have seen it done
in a web site built in ASP.
Hope someone can help
Thanks
Ryan
