I've got a file that looks like this:
<rec>
loads and loads of data over variable lines
loads and loads of data over variable lines
loads and loads of data over variable lines
</rec>
<rec>
loads and loads of data over variable lines
loads and loads of data over variable lines
</rec>
<rec>
loads and loads of data over variable lines
loads and loads of data over variable lines
loads and loads of data over variable lines
loads and loads of data over variable lines
</rec>
etc.
I'm trying to get all the data between <rec></rec>
and stuff it into an array. This is the line of code
I'm using to do that:
eregi( "<rec>.*?<\/rec>", $news, $newsRecs );
However, I'm getting an error I do not understand
on that line:
Warning: REG_BADRPT in
/test/newsedge/newsedge.php3 on line 16
What does that mean? My regex is bad? What
should I be doing different, if anything?
Chris
