Installation of php3

I'm havin problems with installing php3 in apache. I am not used working with these programmes.(apache,mysql,php3) I'm using SeSu 6.3 with Yast. I install from Yast php3, mysql and apache. The last two are working fine. The first is doing nothing. ( I can write a program in html and php3 which only shows the html things ) so i looked in the apache webserver and I found out that their was no php3/php module installed. Futher I couldn't (as much as i know of linux) find an entry that said that apache had to look at *.php3 files. so here are the lines i added to httpd.conf loadmodulesphp3_module ///mod_php3.so addmodule modphp3 addtype applicattion/x-httpd-php3 .php3 addtype applicattion/x-httpd-php3-source .phps Directoryindex index.cgi Directoryindex index.php3 I rebootted the computer And it still not working but a few things changed in the apache server their was a php3 module installed. That was well about all of it. Their was still no php module(I looked but the files weren't their to activate a mod_php) and I still couldn't find anywhere that apache had to look at php3 when they were opened in html. so this is my problem. How will i get php3 working? rinko
