Connecting to Sybase on Linux

Could someone point me to any information regarding connecting PHP on linux to connecting to a separate server running Sybase on linux.
To be more specific, it's the Sybase that ships with Intershop 4.2
Currently, our php installation can connect to postgres, and mssql(using some "free tds" drivers)
