To summarize: On the strength of Richard's reply I decided to start fooling
around with the php.ini file. Works OK - I can set values in phpinfo().
sendmail_path is correct according to phpinfo(). I've tried it with and without
a sendmail_from value. I'm using completely orthodox mail() syntax (see previous
post). But even though mail() returns 1, I get nada (no mail arrives).
Any ideas?
What I find really peculiar is that I *always* get a positive return value. Even
if I give it a totally erroneous location for sendmail...What's up with that?
