I think the answer depend on if you have the Web and Database server on
the same box, or not, and if the boxes are Linux or NT... So it gets
rather confusing for us non-Oracle users.
There's an unofficial (non php.net) PHP-Oracle mailing list out there
somewhere, and they'd be the ones to straighten you out the fastest.
