Dynamic Load

Hi, I'm in trouble using the dl(); function .... When I try to call anytype of library, php print out a parse error: Unable to load the php3_blabla.so - File not found in /home/mysite/www/myfile.php3 I've checked my basic configuration editing a phpinfo(); and I see the Dynamic Library is enabled and Enable_dl is set on 1 .... I think that these mean *I can call dll* .... and more: why my file is looking for the dll on the same directory where my script works? I known that I don't have to specify the path of it 'cause the php.ini known where to get the libraries ..... Below a piece of code that I've try to use: <? dl("php3_imap4r2.so"); do this and that ?> Many thanks in advance for any help or suggestion. max
