Strange...
I just upgraded from PHP3.0.16 to PHP4.0.1pl2
Everything seemed to work OK (wow! nice!), until someone
complained about not being able to authenticate.
People normaly had to be from our domain,
or had to log in (using the auth_mysql module).
Now, if not from our domain, they immediately
dropped through to the error document without
even getting the authentication dialog window.
The .htaccess file looks like this:
deny from all
allow from kulak.ac.be
allow from kuleuven.ac.be
Auth_MySQL_Password_Table auth_user
Auth_MySQL_Group_Table auth_group
AuthName "intranet"
AuthType Basic
require group student
satisfy any
# "401 Authorization Required",
ErrorDocument 401 /cwis/errordoc_401.php3
# "403 Forbidden",
ErrorDocument 403 /cwis/errordoc_403.php3
The strange thing:
When I changed 'errordoc_401.php3' to 'errordoc_401.html'
and renamed the error-files (there was no PHP code in there
yet) things started working again.
Every other .php3 file worked fine with php4...
Am I missing something obvious?
