PHP with Access?

I am using mySQL with all of my stuff but a friend who started writing some files for our online
baseball league was using Access as his database. We tried running it on my server but it returns
an error that says undefined function odbc_connect.
Now my questions, can I get this to work on a Linux box? If not, is there a nice way to convert the
MDB to mySQL? :)
