I don't see my original post on this subject, maybe it was lost in the
"ethernet" during the downtime for the news group.
I'm wondering how many people are using phplib and would like to hear about
the benefits and tribulations that have resulted.
I had installed it so I could make use of some existing open source
projects, but when I found that it broke several existing php programs I'd
written, I removed the include and prepend lines from my php3.ini.
I'm sure I could go in and find all of the functions with similar names and
the other conflicts, but this seems like a lot of work for me to get one
piece of existing code to work.
How ubiquitous is phplib? Are there plans to have it adopted as a "standard"
library of the language?
Anyone, anyone?
