[I'm grasping at straws here a bit >because I don't know how php handles the communication with sendmail] > Not on this server no ... yes on other servers with in the network ... inc our mail mail server .. but not on this one, having said that about 6 weeks ago we have a power outage with out our ups connect (very very bad I know but the ups was getting fixed) any way was all working good since then until about 4 days ago. I've also tried change the sendmail line in php.ini so it reads sendmail_path = /usr/lib/sendmail -t -i ;for unix only, may supply arguments as well (default is 'sendmail -t -i') ie adding the full path for sendmail.. but still no luck..
