Here, PHP stops parsing the string which is to be printed by echo right
before the #FFFFFF. You either need to break your fingers and write:
echo "<font col=\"#ff\".................";
or have it much simpler, faster and better and use single quotes
instead:
echo '<font col="ff"..............';
