Problem installing GD on windows

Hi there, I have downloaded the windows version of GD (php_gd.dll) as I wish to use it's various image functions. I have edited my PHP.INI file in C:\WINNT and uncommented the line: extension=php_gd.dll Where is a suitable location for this .dll file? And what should I set this PHP.INI line to? extension_dir = ./ Any help would be greatly appreciated.
