Find DirectoryIndex in your httpd.conf and add index.php3 to that. ie DirectoryIndex index.php3 index.htm index.html M@ -----Original Message----- From: root@ns.low-cost-webspace.com [mailto:root@ns.low-cost-webspace.com]On Behalf Of spoon fork Sent: Monday, July 17, 2000 09:32 To: php-general@lists.php.net Subject: [PHP] index.php/index.html Hi! In the http.conf, I allowed FollowSymlinks in the <Directory></Directory> directive. And now I have index.php3 in /tmp (test directory). Then I make a symbolic link to index.php3 ln -s index.php3 index.html The problem is, when I view the page (http://myhost/tmp), I get a blank page, and viewing the source reveals the index.php3 source. When I type http://myhost/tmp/index.php3, the page will display. Any solutions? I'm using PHP 4.0 and Apache 1.3.11 (the php3 tags stay because most of the developer's previous php scripts have .php3) Thanks in advance, --mel -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-general-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-general-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
