what do these tables have in common? do they all have a date column? if so, you're query doesn't know which date column to look at.... also, I assume (I know, dangerous, but it's a safe assumption I think..) that you are using mysql? join the mysql list for sql related questions.... while there are lots of people on this list that know SQL and can help you, the focus is on PHP, not SQL....
