AIX 4.3.3 install of PHP and Apache 1.3.20

I'm trying to setup Apache 1.3.20 on an IBM AIX 4.3.3 box including PHP 4.0.
Anyone have any ideas on how to do this???? I have Apache working correctly
but the instructions included at
http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.apache.php
errors out with lex errors.
Please help!
