Hi Maria!
Yes.
If you compile php as a standalone binary, and put it
in an adequate place, like /usr/local/bin, you could put
#/usr/local/bin/php -q
in the top of your localrunning script that you want to
run as a cronjob.

Subject: [PHP] php script as cron job?
hi,
I wrote a php script that clears out entries in a MySQL db that are out of
date. I'd like this script to run once a day. Can I put it in my daily
cron job directory (under Red Hat)? and if so, what directory should I run
the script from? (e.g. the web document root or what?)
thanks for the help!
Maria
