Hello, and thank you for responding to my mail.
A long long time ago when I was working on PHP I remember setting
something up so that when someone accessed a web-directory (a directory
under public_html) that a prompt would jump up and ask for a password. If
someone could not supply a password then access to that directory was
denied. If I remember right all that was required was a file placed into
the directory. Once the directory was accessed this file became active and
launched this 'checker' that I told you about. Has anyone ever heard of
something like this? I'm trying to remember how I did it and would
appreciate any help. Thank you.
~Ben~
