G'day folks, Some of the scripts which are used to run a client's site have started producing this error... >File 'NONEXISTENT/charsets/?.conf' not found (Errcode: 2) >Character set '#7' is not a compiled character set and is not specified in >the 'NONEXISTENT/charsets/Index' file It appears as if they're mostly coming from two scripts which are run as regular cron jobs. *ALL* of the site's scripts (PHP 4.0.6) use the same method for connecting to the back-end database (MySQL 3.23.32) - that is, mysql_connect("localhost",<user>,<pwd>) followed by mysql_select_db(<dbase>). The site is being hosted by a provider in Florida who do not grant shell access nor are they very helpful in following up on problems. I have never seen this behaviour before (it certainly doesn't happen on our local build and test boxes). Can anybody suggest a possible remedy (or even a likely cause)? Any help would be much appreciated.
