I'm using PHP to talk to SQL-Server 7.0 via Sybase-ct with the Freetds
drivers.
I downloaded everything PHP-related current as of last week.
It sorta works mostly...
Except, that sometimes a bad SQL statement will crash an Apache child, so
my "connection is terminated" to the browser.
The Apache error_log has:
FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate -2147483648 bytes
in it when this occurs.
Presumably, at this point, PHP/Apache are off in the weeds and somebody is
trying to emalloc() on a NULL pointer or something silly...
Any idea what I could try to do to fix this? Writing perfect SQL every
time is not an option :-)
