Isn't it fun when people asking questions on the list spark off your own thoughts/inspiration!?
Has anyone seen a tabulation of the functions in (manual: IV Function Reference XXVI. Filesystem
functions) that shows
which functions [don't] work under what conditions? eg
Col1: function name,
Col2: if it works under *nix/Windows/etc,
Col3: if it works for remote files/URLs
Please advise,
