Try something like this:
<input type="checkbox" checked name="ar_pru[0]"><BR>
<input type="checkbox" checked name="ar_pru[1]"><BR>
<input type="checkbox" checked name="ar_pru[2]"><BR>
Note the quotes (is that the correct name for " in english? =)
surrounding the variable's names...
