Installing ODBC

Hello, I have problems compiling libiodbc-3.0.5 I have tried to compile being root and being a normal user and I get the same error. I am trying to install it on a linux machine. I am trying to connect that linux machine with Apache and PHP with a Windows NT with SQL-Server. Would I need any other software on the Linux or the NT machines? Thanks Regards.
