GroupIT is a robust Apache/PHP/Mysql content management system.
GroupIT provides the ability to create and maintain any number of pages and
sub-pages using only a web browser. In addition, one has the option of
creating any number of dynamic content sections that enable the sharing of
documents, events, articles, images, messages, links and other content.
GroupIT's template mechanism can support any web page layout or interface
design and an array of attractive templates are included. GroupIT provides
a robust and versatile security model that allows any combination of user
accounts, security roles and workgroup memberships to control read, write
and editorial access to content. In addition, GroupIT provides the ability
to create and maintain a web site in multiple languages. As a product, the
GroupIT Engine installs with a comprehensive set of functioning pages that
perform many of the jobs required to deploy and manage an Intranet, web
site or online community.
