problem with default ip address

Hi, i am testing some tool which resides on a stand alone machine. For Apache webserver we will use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost as they have given in httpd.conf ___________________________________________________________________________ ________ # 127.0.0.1 is the TCP/IP local loop-back address, often named localhost. Your # machine always knows itself by this address. If you use Apache strictly for # local testing and development, you may use 127.0.0.1 as the server name. # #ServerName ankem.wipro.com ServerName 127.0.0.1 ___________________________________________________________________________ _________ if i give like http://localhost it z working fine. But if i give http://127.0.0.1 It z shouting with error... Any help would be appreciate.. Thanks in advance Regards -Balaji
