You can run with a unique id field or create a display precedence field.
Either way should work fine.

Subject: [PHP] MySQL sorting problem
Hi there
I have the following problem :
My company has about a 1000 Skills that are associated to specific
employee's listed as :
S1.1
S1.2 ....
S1.21
S1.22 ...
S1.3
S1.4
S2.1
S2.2 ....
and so on.
All these must be listed by me in a db.
Now I have the problem a sorting them in a numeric way!
If I sort them "assenting" , my result will be S1.1, S1.11, S1.12 S1.13,
1.2 and S1.3
It must be S1.1, S1.2, S1.3, S1.11, S1.12 ex.
I have tried S1_1, S1_2, S1_3 ex. this also doesnt work.
Is there different way I can list them or safe the in the db.
Any help will be appreciated
Thank u!
