Hi, It's fairly easy with JPEG and PNG (just look for image-functions in the php.net-manual) with good a result, but not with GIF, except you are using previous versions of GD-library (<1.6), though I doubt it would give you a good result. I'm searching a way to resize JPEG-images with PHP on the fly. Does anyone know a way to do that or can give me a small piece of code which does that with a picture? If thats done: is it also possible to resize GIF and PNG-files? If thats done too, the third and last question is: is it also possible to do that without having the need to have that pictures stored as a file (I hold the picture data in a variable which is then stored into a mysql-db)? As I said before: I'm also happy with partial answers!
