That's not much PHP but since it will help you to finish your project
(that I hope contains PHP ;-))
You could update the whole frameset, all frames, with a URL with the
correct frames to load, or use something like:
<a href=example.php
onClick="top.frame_name.location='example_page.php';">Link</a>
Where 'frame_name' stands for, er... the name of the target frame and
example_page.php the document to open.
I am sure there are other options but these are easy to implement ;-)

How can I know the page that is loaded in the main frame from another frame
for, and then update it?
I want to obtain the same effect that is able with the button to update a
page in Explorer .
If somebody has an idea for do that, please help me!!
