I would be more concerned with this also, except that we regularly
load
tables larger than this one on our intranet using ASP/MSSQL.
Also, the
page loads fine the first time.
I did try splitting the page into a new table every 20 rows --
this gives
the user the feeling that the page is loading faster since they
start to
see information faster. It still did not fix the problem though.
I saw the same behavior under php 4.0.0 when running a test page
with
nothing but phpinfo() on it. The problem went away when I installed
php 4.0.1.
