erm, well I guess? :)
just did
1 <?
2 $a = array ('a','b' => array (1,2,3));
3 $b = 1;
4 function foo() {
5 extract ($GLOBALS);
6 var_dump ($a);
7 var_dump ($b);
8 }
9
10 foo();
and looks ok for both $a & $b.
