sure, store it in a cookie and then use session_id($new_session_id) to set
it to what ever you want.
ie:
setcookie("mysessionid", "cookie_value");
this returns
$mysessionid = "cookie_value";
now, when you load the page, read the value of the cookie and then set it
into the value of
session_start();
session_id($mysessionid);
this starts a session and then resets the value of the session ID :)
Hope this helps
Jim
