hi, I'm writing an application for students to be able to schedule time in a lab. When the student clicks on a calander day, I'd like a pop up box to take the student's name and the time he wants to schedule the lab. Then I'd like to pass this info to a php script that will re-write the current web page with the information taken from the student added to it so that the web page is always up to date with the latest lab schedule. Is using JavaScript on the client-side the only way to do this? And if so, Is there a way to do this without opening another window that has a form inside of it? And if there is not another way, then I am having a tough time getting the form to actually call the PHP script from within the newly opened window and would appreciate suggestions.
