Greets,
Organizing a new site, with db back end and templated output,
the client is keen to go with XML based systems throughout.
The project is an e-zine, simple hierarchy at this point:
index page lists child pages, some common features of each page
provide the lateral links, bit of historical search.
I quite naturally want the input mechanism to be browser centric.
Has anyone worked through a process for automated generation
of input forms from DTD ? Willing to share your wisdom ?
It would be dandy to update the DTD and have the tools adapt to
the new spec. Do-able ?
I'm still in the early stages of reading up on XML/DTD/XSL.
Has XSL arrived or is it still out there in the promised near and not
too distant future ?
Love to hear war stories about going there and doing that ... Or why
my client should wait another year before jumping, etc.
