using mcrypt_cbc w/ libmcrypt 2.0.4, it doesn't seem that the IV feature is
working. i've tried Blowfish, Twofish, 3DES, and DES.
anybody know of a way to simulate this feature? do I just tac on a random
string (bit size = mcrypt_get_block_size()) to the beginning of the plaintext?
that doesn't sound right to me, tho.
