Compiling PHP 4.0.0 on AIX 4.3.3

I've currently got PHP 3.0.15 installed with Apache 1.3.12 on AIX 4.3.3, all compiled with gcc version egcs-2.91.66. I'm trying to upgrade to PHP 4.0.0 (release version) on the same machine and haven't been able to get very far at all. There seems to be a problem with the libtool script, although I'm not entirely sure. Has anyone successfully built PHP 4.0.0 under AIX as an Apache DSO yet or am I bleeding edge? If so, what compiler, compiler flags or hacks where required to make it happen? Here is a log from start to premature finish.
