I thought this was an easy endeavor, using either ereg_replace or
preg_replace but I'm having more trouble than I thought. I'm sure someone
has already solved this problems, so hopefully this won't be too painful.
Essentially a user can input some text and it will be stored in a database.
That's the long and the short of it, except I want to guard against those
wonderful people who decide that changing their font and color and size and
making teh text bold and italic and blinking is fun. In other words, I want
to be left with the text but no HTML tags or the like. Anyone have something
prebuilt that they use?
