Thanks for testing it for me; that's exactly what I *HOPED* I would
get but I definitely am not getting that so something is wrong somewhere.
What version of php, apache, platform, gcc, are you on? Mine is:
php 4.0.1pl2
apache 1.3.12
solaris 2.6 sparcstation
gcc 2.95.2
The shell script wrapper I use to configure php is:
PATH=/usr/local/bin:${PATH} ; export PATH
CFLAGS="-O -pipe" ; export CFLAGS
EXTRA_LIBS=-L/usr/local/lib ; export EXTRA_LIBS
./configure \
--prefix=/usr/local/apache \
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs \
--with-xml \
--enable-track-vars \
--enable-trans-sid \
--with-config-file-path=/usr/local/apache/conf \
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql
And my shell script wrapper for configuring apache is:
CFLAGS="-O -pipe" ; export CFLAGS
PATH=/usr/local/bin:${PATH} ; export PATH
# SYSTEM means it's already installed in /usr/local
SSL_BASE=SYSTEM ; export SSL_BASE
RSA_BASE=SYSTEM ; export RSA_BASE
sh configure \
--prefix=/usr/local/apache \
--enable-rule=SHARED_CORE \
--disable-rule=SSL_COMPAT \
--enable-rule=SSL_SDBM \
--enable-module=ssl \
--enable-shared=ssl \
--enable-module=so \
--enable-module=most \
--enable-shared=max
