If you redirect into the query page using a META refresh, you can display
the message:
echo("<HTML><HEAD><META HTTP-EQUIV=\"refresh\"
CONTENT=\"0;url=your_url_here.php\"></HEAD><BODY>processing... please
wait</BODY></HTML>");
The message will display until the query page finishes.
