NewbiedoobiUUUH,
I have a database with 10 images(paths) per record contained.
The simple import export (partly covering case A and B but not C) from access97 works easily (with
access2000 only partly doing it).
Problem 1: Importing/exporting does not copy any of the image-files (which paths are contained in
the records). Is there any tool or trick to automate the synchronization
Problem 2: In case C I think all queries changing either copy have to be stored and executed on both
copies to keep them identical.
HOW can I better synchronize the local and remote copy?
Is there any sample how this could be done or can anybody point me a way how to?
Case A: Changes happen only on the local copy
Case B: Changes happen on the remote copy only
Case C: Changes happen on both copies
Database setup:
- local
= msaccess97 or 2000 database on w2k
- remote
= mysql-database on unix/apache
Any advice is greatly welcome
