another tomcat 4.01 problem

I got php4.1.0 sucessfully compiled in and now I get these
exceptions when I try to run the test php scripts.
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: send
at net.php.servlet.send(Native Method)
at net.php.servlet.service(servlet.java:162)
at net.php.servlet.service(servlet.java:180)
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:853)
I know that I am very close now. Any hints?
