Very true!
For those not able to do that, like myself because of ISP restrictions, you
can make the website's base directory and include directory both subdirs
within the same directory:
www.foo.org/ points to:
/htdocs/foo/documents
Then place your PHP include files in another subdirecotry of foo:
/htdocs/foo/includes
Thus, there's no URL the user can use to get to your include directory.
